Why the fuck do some American schools call English Literature, American Literature?! Like wtf American ain’t even a language. These Americans won’t pass American Literature if they think it should be American rather than English. Stupid fools!

American Lit is not the same thing as English Lit. We have American Lit which is about literature by American authors, and British Lit which is about literature by British authors. It has nothing to do with the language of the literature.
